What This Website is All About:
The Bible says some very specific things directly to those who have trusted in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Knowing what God has said is an important step towards realizing the promises and blessings God desires for you. On this site I have attempted to consolidate verses from the Bible specifically directed towards disciples of Christ. This collection of verses represents the identity and nature of disciples of Christ from God's viewpoint - in other words, your identity in Christ.
The Booklet:
As you will see on the About page, my husband and I have developed a small ministry based on these verses. For a number of years we have published these verses in the form of a small red booklet entitled Who I Am in Christ which we have distributed to friends throughout the world. The content of the booklet can be found on the What God Says About Me page. It is also available for free electronically on the Download page and may be ordered for a small donation in the traditional "red booklet" format.
Do These Verses Apply to Me?
Yes, if you have trusted in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. If you have not committed yourself to Christ and wish to do so, please pray the Salvation Prayer and contact us on the Contact Us / Order page to connect with other disciples of Christ. The Bible is very clear that salvation is a gift a grace exclusively to those who trust in Christ. There is no other way to know God and to receive His promises other than through His Son, Jesus Christ.
John 14:6 (Jesus speaking) "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Acts 4:12 "Salvation is found in no one else [other than Jesus Christ], for there is no name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."

About the Verses:
One of the first things you were taught as a small child was your name. Your heavenly Father also knows how important your identity is – that’s why He made you a new creation in Him when you received Jesus Christ as your Lord (11 Corinthians 5:17).
One of the reasons you may have lived with defeat, discouragement or low self-esteem is because you haven’t totally seen yourself through God’s eyes. You’ve only seen yourself through the mirror of your past, what others have said about you, your own experiences, or lies that the devil has whispered to you and you have believed. Now it’s time to look at yourself through the mirror of God’s Word, the Bible.
Romans 12:2 shows you how to do this. It says “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." As you daily feed yourself from the Word, He will show you clearly who you are as one who believes in Him. You will begin to see yourself without the mirror of your past, and the lies that you once believed will be replaced by God’s true vision of who you are!
These verses are offered to you as a starting place to your freedom. As you read the verses, we encourage you to open up your Bible and see for yourself what God has written about you. But please don’t stop there. Confess each promise out loud, mix it with faith, and receive the revelation that you are who God says you are and you have what He says you have.
God’s Words are exceedingly more powerful than the devil’s lies, and you will experience His power to transform your life when you agree with what He says. Our prayer for you is that you will live your life “In Christ”, becoming so aware of His love for you and your new and true identity in Him, that you will see yourself through His eyes and reflect His glory to others. Choose to take time today to know and remember who you are in Christ. Allow the Holy Spirit to reveal these truths to you, and your life will never be the same!
